Plein Air painting for me is about the activity of being outdoors, painting from observation with the wind, sun, and onlookers that are part of it all. I really enjoy the practice of observation and draughtsmanship and and thank the Impressionists (and my 2015 summer school class) for getting me out of doors and working.
