The development and revisiting of abstractions is on its way. While I love the portrait (Chick Close, Alex Katz, Alice Neel) the “simplicity” of design elements and principles are what attract me. Linear exploration of texture, color, contrast, text… I am very interested in the use of these as the subject matter, the impetus behind my works.
